Bela Lugosi Daylily is a semi-evergreen perennial with strap-like deep green foliage and large, deep purple flowers with a bold yellow-chartreuse throat that blooms throughout summer. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in deep and rich well-drained soils. Drought and salt tolerant once established. Bela Lugosi is very sunfast and holds its color well.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Relatively pest free, but watch for mites, aphids, and thrips. Daylily Rust can be problematic in some areas. Divide every 3-4 years in fall or spring.
