Firefinch Echinacea is a compact freely branching native perennial with dense colorful red flowers that range from pinkish-red to orange-red with dark cones and bloom through summer into fall.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed.  Drought tolerant.
